What is it ?Another Level is gift from the Church to the community of Daisy Hill This gift reflects the early history of St James Church. When it was built in 1880 St James Church, along with the Daisy Hill Cricket Club, was a gift to the community from two elderly sisters: Alice Makant and Margaret Haddock. Through Another Level, St James Church reciprocates on this earlier gesture. Another Level encompasses the pastoral vision under God, of St James Church. As a gift to the community, Another Level will facilitate the mission of St James church. As Church and Community working in partnership. Another Level Centre will make available for community use, a considerable space within the church. Another Level also expresses the desire of St James Church to forge meaningful partnerships in all areas of community life. Through doing this, St James Church aims to live out in a tangible way, the Christian precepts of faith, hope and love. |
